The Study is a six-week research study into AI for diabetes — built by the people who live with it. We need two hundred volunteers to share the everyday data behind their levels. We'd love for you to be one of them.

OVERVIEW

Help us build AI for diabetes.

You'd like to help us build artificial intelligence for diabetes. The first step is studying real health and lifestyle data — so we're working with people who have diabetes and asking them to contribute theirs.

6 weeksLong enough to see real patterns in your levels.
200Participants living with diabetes.
AnonymousFully secure, following UK, EU, and US data-sharing and protection guidelines.
From AugustStarting on the 1st of August 2026.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Share your data, privately.

To make sharing your data as effortless as possible, we've built an app. It seamlessly pulls data from your health apps to minimise manual logging. Our research looks at different factors that shape your levels:

Nutrition

What you eat and when — the biggest day-to-day lever on your levels.

Factor 01 06

Activity

Movement through the day, and how your body responds to it.

Factor 02 06

Sleep

How well you rest, and the mark it leaves on the next day.

Factor 03 06

Mood

Stress and emotion, quietly shaping the numbers underneath.

Factor 04 06

Menstrual cycle

Hormonal shifts that change how you respond, week to week.

Factor 05 06

Glucose

The continuous signal everything else is measured against.

Factor 06 06

From just glucose to the bigger picture. When you just look at your levels, you don't see what's driving them. You see a narrow view and lose the wider context of what's happening.

It takes only a few moments a day. We will provide more information about the study once you request to join. As a thank you, you'll get early access to Halo the moment it goes live. Request to join.

HOW WE BUILD THE AI

From real life, to real intelligence.

The data you share is just the start. Here's how it becomes a model that understands how your body actually works — in three steps.

  1. 01Gather real-life dataWe collect the everyday signals behind your levels — food, movement, sleep, mood, glucose — at a depth most studies never reach.
  2. 02Find the patternsWe look across thousands of these moments for the patterns that quietly drive your levels — the ones a single number can't show.
  3. 03Build an accurate modelThose patterns become a model that reflects how your body actually responds — tailored to real life, not the average.

WHO IT'S FOR

Wherever you are with diabetes.

Diabetes shows up differently at every stage of life — and sometimes before it starts. We're looking for people across these moments:

  • At risk / family historyDiabetes runs in your family and you want to understand your risk — and what you can do now to change the odds.
  • Newly diagnosedThe early days can be frightening. Get up to speed fast — with education tailored to you, not the average.
  • Early lifeAdolescence and the shift into adulthood — understanding how your body is changing, and what you need to do as it does.
  • Later life & longevityPerimenopause, menopause and beyond — understanding how your body is changing, and what you need to do as it does.
  • Conceiving & pregnancyFertility, pregnancy and gestational diabetes — clarity on how nutrition and lifestyle shape your journey, at every step.
  • Better managementManaging for the long term, and wanting a better system to do it.
